Affiliate Disclosure

Dehumidifier Advisor is a reader-supported site. Some of the product links on this site are affiliate links, which means the site may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.

Programs the site participates in

As an Amazon Associate, Dehumidifier Advisor earns from qualifying purchases. Any other retailer or brand program the site joins is added to this page when it starts.

How affiliate links are used

An affiliate link works like any other product link: it sends you to the retailer’s own listing, where the retailer sets the price and handles checkout. The retailer pays the commission, and the price you pay is the same whether or not you use the link.

How recommendations are decided

Commissions do not influence which units are recommended or how they are rated. Each pick starts with the manufacturer’s published specifications, checked against at least one retailer listing, and this information is coupled with owner reviews to determine the best products. When a unit has real drawbacks, the review states them, and when a less expensive unit is the better choice for a given space, that is what the review says.

Questions

If you have a question about how the site earns or how a recommendation was reached, the About page explains the approach in more detail.
